About Gabrielle Fundaro

Gabrielle Fundaro is an ACE-certified Health Coach, science communicator, and international speaker with expertise in motivational interviewing, sport nutrition, and the Monash Low-FODMAP program. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and a BS in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education from Radford University. Formerly an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Georgia Gwinnett College, she transitioned to become a Renaissance Periodization Nutrition Coach and now runs her telehealth coaching business, Vitamin Ph.D. Nutrition. Gabrielle is also a freelance writer for BarBend.com and Examine.com, and serves on the boards of the Nutrition Coaching Global Mastermind (NCGM) and the Sports Nutrition Association (SNA). She is the author of The Science of Gut Health: What the Research Really Says About Your Gut Microbiome.
